For a better illumination try to use fluorescent bulbs ( the old ones like tubes) and in front of them put a laminating foil unheated.

Without the backlight, the LCD is virtually unreadable.
Fix any broken LCD backlight with an ordinary light bulb and a dead CRT monitor.Take a CRT monitor, remove the guts and dispose, keeping just the shell and monitor stand.

Einfacher Umbau von CCF auf helleres, stromsparendes LED-Backlight SX14Q006, CCFL-A173, LSUBL6291A, LTM10209,LM8V302, NL6448AC33-xx etc. LED Kits displayspezifisch . I have an old defective LCD 13" TV around for ten years. Reply on Wie können Sie Ihr LCD-Display reparieren? on Ensure to test first prior assembling so that you don't need to re open again when there is problem.Replace the inverter board with the relay switch and assemble the TV.
