Although extremely enjoyable, this book is full of elements which irk me. I'll just enjoy them more once Colfer relaxes and realizes his audience can and will find his cleverness without him having to hand feed it to them.HOLY MOLY I CAN'T EVEN EXPRESS MY EXCITMENT RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was definitely the best book I read all summer. The Wand is now complete and activates itself, but Alex is blasted out of the gathering into the air by Ezmia. So this is from my point of view, not a child's. Alex loses her temper and her control of her magic and shoots at the fairy council with lightning before vanishing. Meanwhile, Alex is causing more chaos against her will. Their mother tells them that it's true. However, even my 10 year old didn't want to finish it. August 6th 2013 All three then decided to surprise Charlotte with a special dinner at the Bailey house the next Thursday at six. Easily the biggest Middle Reader dud of 2013.
The group then travels into the works of literature in an attempt to stop their uncle before he recruits an army of literary villains. Ezmia appears and tells her story to the twins' mother, whom she believes is Alex, and she reveals the identity of Red, Froggy and the twins travel back to Red's castle and find out the wall surrounding the kingdom has magically disappeared. It's such a great book and it's even better that Chris Colfer wrote it. Goldilocks, Jack, Conner and Froggy are also taken as they try to save Queen Red and Trolbella from being taken. However, Conner ducks and the parents don't see him. They pack for their journey and plant the new Beanstalk. Alex returns to Ezmia's coliseum and apologizes to her, taking away her anger and thus her power. Which comes across as pompous and condescending to the reader. Can't wait to dive into the next one!AHHH WHYYY. The characters are fun and interesting for the most part.

Chapter 26: The Enchantress's Most Prized Possession Take your favorite fandoms with you and never miss a beat. Initially, I did buy the first one just because Chris Colfer wrote it, however I purchased the second one because I loved the first one so much. Rumplestiltskin tells his captive, Charlotte Bailey, his story; he used to be a dwarf dreaming of a life outside the mines, and Ezmia took him on as an apprentice and wanted him to take a royal child for her evil plans. In a dream, Alex speaks to her literary heroines (Lucy, Alice, Dorothy and Wendy) and realized that she knows what to do about Ezmia. Alex's grandmother, the Fairy Godmother, eventually defeats the Masked Man’s dragon with her fairy magic and dies.
I enjoy Colfer's acting, including his self-penned film debut. That's a sad but great book. With mayhem brewing in the Big Apple, Conner and Alex will have to win their biggest battle yet. However, it's not nearly as enjoyable as the first one.

I am looking forward to the next adventure.This was a nice, light, & fun second volume in the “Land of Stories” series. He then exits to the Fairy Tale world. The fairy godmother is dying because she finally finds a replacement; now the Fairy Godmother can rest knowing the fairy tale world rests in good hands. The good news for Conner is that the girl he has a crush on, Bree Campbell, is attending. The ending was okay I just hope Alex made the right choice.The ending... this ending... it made me want to read more of this series. Later, Alex gives Mother Goose bubbly until she becomes drunk, and Alex asks her for information, which she unknowingly gives. The bad news is that four girls called the Book Huggers are also going. The protagonist tweens were smart but not brilliant; independent but still in need of assistance. Just a moment while we sign you in to your Goodreads account. But I'm not reviewing Colfer the actor, I'm reviewing Colfer the writer. But the wink wink, nudge nudge quality to the writing makes me crazy. Froggy is found to be the long-lost Prince Charlie from the Charming Kingdom, and Alex and Conner learn that their grandmother is the Fairy Godmother, who is capable of making portals between the Otherworld and the fairy-tale world, and the journal is written by the man who had successfully completed the Wishing Spell years before was written by their father: therefore, Alex and Conner are a part fairy.

The ingredients to the potion are a branch from the oldest tree in the woods, a feather from the finest pheasant in the sky, a liquefied lock and key that belonged to a true love, two weeks of moonlight, and a spark of magic. this book was amazing but the ending was truly the stand out... and i think there will be a third one (maybe, hopefully, or else). Alex's mom later reassures her after making Alex announced her decision, "I'm saying, I'm not going to let you leave the place where you belong." Colfer's use of humor was wonderfuAHHH WHYYY. Unexpectedly, Conner saves her and admits that he had followed her. He shows them the ring, which has two large diamonds on it, one pink and one blue to represent the twins. The Land of Stories is a series of children's fiction, adventure and fantasy books written by American author, actor and singer Chris Colfer.
Colfer definitely has a talent for storytelling, but it is so very obvious that he knows this. Have you read his fairy tale book "The Land of Stories?"
