I chose the Cuban sandwich, which was good and filled me up nicely.The crew member working on my side was efficient enough but she addressed me twice with the wrong name. Yep, the journey to SEA today has been downguaged to an A330-300.Complimentary snacks and beverages here at the gate area. He eventually brought me a glass of iced water when I told him I preferred a glass (and to save that bottle for later in the flight).Shortly after takeoff, menus were distributed and orders taken.I opted for the shrimp starter, which came with soup and salad. I chose the shrimp appetizer, and also enjoyed the delicious Thai coconut soup and wedge salad.For my main course I chose the Fontina-stuffed chicken, which had great flavor. I had a solid flight in Delta’s A330-900neo business class. Inside, though, it was all the same and contained an eye mask, ear plugs and basic toiletries. With plenty of airlines comes plenty of business class products. Not only was it as hot as molten lava, it was dripping wet and I ended up with burned hands and a wet lap to start this flight.

Flat bed was weird design and narrow… sleeping on my back was only reasonable choice. It’s not as nice as American’s 777-300, but to fly that I would have had to connect in London and I’d much rather go nonstop in a slightly smaller seat than have to deal with transferring at Heathrow and then flying wretched intra-European business class (read: economy). The seasoning on the chicken paired well with the apricots. I chose the beef tenderloin.The beef was slightly overcooked, but not so much to detract from the entire meal. It was a big area, though, so I imagine it does get busy earlier in the day during rush hour for US-bound flights. It felt good to me.Leg room in these seats is quite good, though the footwell is a bit narrow.Lots of little nooks and crannies to put your stuff in – the shelf space is pretty generous as well.The entertainment system controls are a bit “in your face” but it’s actually not so bad – unless you get easily claustrophobic.Electrical outlet, USB and audio ports are in a very convenient location.And of course, the Delta One logo in the seat back.Delta One A330-300 cabin.
